I broke my h2o ethos rod today and need a new rod now. It's the second one that has broke on me while casting. I'm looking for one I can pitch plastics with and throw crankbaits. What's the best bang for the buck? Something around $100 or less hopefully.

Falcon Bucoo

check out the Falcon Bucoo series of rods. These rods are awesome for the price and feel like a high dollar rod. They're pretty sensitive and incredibly light. They have plenty of models to choose from. I think you'll like them.

Pitching plastics you generally want a fast tip and throwing crankbaits, you want a more moderate action.

Something right in the middle for around $100
Would work well for pitching plastics and medium to large crankbaits. For smaller/lighter crankbaits you'd definitely want a medium action rod.

Cabela's Ft, Worth should have a decent selection of TFO rods

Angler's Pro Tackle in North Richland Hills should have some also.
