I have had a new go pro for just a short period of time, and purchased some editing software online that is supposed to be one of the better programs, especially for fishing videos, but I am having trouble understanding how to use not only the go pro, but the software. Any here use a go pro when fishing that would be willing to help me out on better use of the go pro and possibly the editing software? Shoot me a pm Here is a video example, not sure if the camera is set up correctly, of one of the last trips I took before getting my new boat.

My HS boys use their phones. They edit, add music, etc. They have some exceptional videos they have made.

I've been using the GoPro editing studio. Free works well. this^ figure out how to set the video on five minute loop and then you can just record when something happens that you wanted to capture you hit Capture again it stops the video and goes back and saves the last five minutes that you were on in one minute segments. You may only want the last 30 seconds of video and when you use the mobile app to control your camera you can get on and actually delete the first four minutes and save that last piece of video you wanted and it will save a lot of room on your card I learned very quickly carry a spare battery with you when doing this though and it will get you through the day
