Ok I haven't seen the lake in about 8 years how's the fishing is the old side still the best

Fished the lake last Thursday afternoon and Friday morning... Tough tough tough! Lots of sandies on the new side but the bite I normally get on is tough! Lake has been way to up and down the past year and half likely has them in a funk! Maybe someone will weigh in who is on em bc I sure wasn't !
