Here's the link to the Vimeo on Demand version of Bill's visit to Lake Fork with guide Jay Kendrick. If you've never purchased/rented a VOD episode this may just be one to check out. VOD episodes have extended coverage, are commercial free and packed with a ton of info you won't see on FOX or YouTube versions. They caught em.

Also, here's the link to the YouTube version of Bill and Monte's trip to Monticello. It was a great show as well.

Hey Monte, What was the temperature outside the day that you and Bill filmed? Thinking of trying Monticello this week for the 1st time. Looks like an awesome frog bite there now. Just really wondering if the water temps are still in the 70's on the far north end.

The outside temp that day was around 78-85 I believe and it was a little overcast with a chance of rain. I'm not sure about the current water temp Good Luck out there it's a lot of fun!!!

I'll save you a trip and maybe a frustrating day. It was awesome both before and after Bill filmed but it's not now. The coolest temp anywhere on that lake right now is in the upper 80's and that's a VERY small area and those fish have even stopped biting a frog. Don't get me wrong, you can find some fish but if you go out there with the expectations from that show there is a 95% chance you will leave VERY hot and frustrated. Main lake up north is about 100 and will probably be 102+ by this weekend.

I'm with Chris and it's not to run anyone off. I fished the day before Bill and Monte filmed. I came home and saw a post by Mark the next day and references to their Facebook update. I killed them. I motored with my G3 over about 50 yards of pads to get back to clean water. I watched guys fishing the main lake area where the pads start and they all wore that area out.

My 7 year old daughter has been after me to take her fishing around Lilly pads. I saw this post the night before I was going again (2 days ago) and was worried sick the lake would be crowded after the show hit YouTube. We arrived at sunrise and saw 2 trailers in the parking lot. I took a photo over my console at noon driving in and my vehicle was the only one in the parking lot. She caught a few small fish on an underspin/fluke. I had no blow ups on the frog and I caught nothing.

As I was leaving it dawned on me why my vehicle was alone in the parking lot. Word gets around and just 3-4 weeks earlier when I launched the lot was full and I saw David Vance's rig in the lot. Bill mentioned the pads growing over and how you can't get back past the first line of them. When the lake is producing everyone knows. When it's not it's a ghost town.

I have "bought" several of these videos under the VIMEO.COM plan for the extended version on lakes that I fish so I can get the co-ordinates. This Lake Fork video does NOT give the co-ordinates of where Bill fished at the end as the others have.
WHY ???
That was supposed to be part of the package that you pay for in the extended version.
Very disappointed.

You could Carolina rig a frog in about 25 ft of water and maybe catch a few.

The gps that Bill provides are his own waypoints. In this case they weren't his. When Bill has guides and other guests he respects their locations.
