That's what I thought it was? Cable steer with electric override for spot lock, etc?

OMG!! I think I'm having a moment...

As a dedicated fan of "electric steer" for over 20 years. This is exactly what I have been waiting for. The benefits of an electric steer with the responsiveness of a cable steer. Definitely a game changer for me!

Guess I better start preparing the Mrs. for the "impending failure" of my prized Terrova in the near future. Now what shall I replace it with... hmmm Lol

I was hopeful a true cable steer with I pilot was coming...

I wish minn Kota would trash that fortrex mount and start over, it's a sloppy, expensive, mess.

If this thing is as advertised I'll cut you a deal in mine. I'm anxiously awaiting reviews on it and I hope the turning motor is quiet.

They weren't going to release the news yet then changed their minds and have it posted on the website so I'm looking forward to seeing some reviews soon. I'm curious if they were able to get the spot lock more accurate, I'm assuming that it isn't since you can change it with an I pilot head for wireless control

The new IPilot is a lot better. I have a new Ulterra and they use 4 signals instead of 2. The new Ultrex will be the same.
