I fished a drop shot for 30 minutes tonight at a pond, while my wife and daughter went Pokemon hunting. Lol. Caught 3 missed one. The three fish combined were probably
1 pound. Smallest bass I've ever caught. Lol.

I've caught a few 5-6lbers on dropshot out of ponds. But yes you definitely have to weed through the smaller ones. Its a great technique for heavily pressure ponds for sure.

It definitely works. It's all I did last winter and did not do too badly for winter. Usually i am skunked in the winter but then again last winter was pretty mild.

its the only thing i use for pond fishing anymore. 10 pound braid to 6 pound fluro. zoom finesse worm and a 1/4 ounce weight. Kill them on grass lines.

Mojo rig works well for ponds. Never really thought about a drop shot.
