This is my first time out on the boat in a Looong time. I won't be able to get out again until maybe October or November because I'm working a new job in the Houston refineries. I just got here at 6pm and took the boat out until 9. I Skunked cranking around some points in the 15-20 foot range even tho I saw fish on the screen.. I saw some guys trolling around the points I was on and catching a few but that's not my idea of fun. Can someone shoot me a PM or help me with some info on what's working or what I should focus on? I'm here until Monday afternoon. Much appreciated.

Man I thought some locals would have answered your plea for help by now. Being the 4th weekend they may be out of pocket. Been a while since I was at the " Bend " but always had good luck fishing any grass I could find along side NS6 boat lane especially on points. Also, don't know which end of the lake you're at but I stay above the Hwy. 21 bridge. South end was always harder for me to find good grass. Hope some locals chime in and get you some better help. Enjoy your weekend.

I got a couple messages. I wasn't fishing deep enough. Once I started fishing the deeper ends of points I started getting bites. Also found some vegetation and found them on the edges. Thanks guys.
