I've been going to Fork the last several weeks night fishing. The bite has been dead the last two times that I went which sucks after an 1 1/2 hour drive. Thinking of trying another lake. What's the best night fishing lake within 1 1/2 hours of Arlington in your opinion?

I was thinking about grapevine. Have never been to it. I keep saying that I am going to give it a try.

Lewisville and Texoma have always been good to me at night. Been a few years since I've done it.

I've heard good things about Athens, about 1 3/4 hours from you. Gonna try it myself one of these nights

I know I love night for that reason. You can have the lake to yourself.

Granbury used to be good back in the day. Docks and marinas. Benbrook used to be good at night also. Haven't night fished either in many years

sorry to hear of your drought, fished fork last friday night from 9pm to 1am and caught around 15. BUT my partner who wormed the entire time blanked, I kept it basic, buzz bait and spinnerbait. a few unders, mostly slots, largest went 21 inches. i'm looking at the west side of the lake tomorrow night.
