Z-Man Original Chatterbait I like the original one the best and it's caught me many fish. My most productive color is plain ole' white. The blade on this bait vibrates the best and it comes through grass better than other one on the market if you ask me. It really has a vibration that you can feel, and I like that the most. I feel like that gets me more quality bites. Nothing has ever failed me. Not to mention they're cheaper than the rest. Phenix Vibrator Version III A very, very close second would be this one. If you want a vibrating jig that has the the utmost quality and the best hook, then definitely go with this one. The vibration and blade shape is similar to the Z-Man's. My favorite color is the Western shad.

Make my own in a blue gill(perch) with a keitech swing impact trailer. White is a close second. Lure parts online has everything you need.

Z Man Chatterbait
Pretty close between Black/Blue or Chartreuse/White, then White. Can't go wrong with any of them.

Z man's watermelon or olive colored one. I saw Tod Auten put 20lbs in the boat on Ray Hubbard during a PAA event.

And for me its a Strike king rage blade, Color doesnt matter as I remove the skirts and add a swimbait trailer. Silver blade for bright sunny days and gold blade for overcast / murky water. z-man original in white is a close second though.

White and chartreuse and then the black and blue Z-Man. I add a swim bait to both. If there are Tilapia in one of the power plant lakes they destroy the black and blue, fun-fun!

The original Z Man works just fine for me. White, Black/Blue, and California Craw (basically green pumpkin looking) are my go to colors. The green pumpkin one has a black blade and I use it more than the others for some reason. Generally pair with a rage craw trailer.
The Phenix ones seem to ride much higher in the water column than the Z man at the same weight.
