I had Garmins on my boat, just had to throw that out there!

Anyway, my dad has an Elite 7 and I loaded my waypoints on his graph - at least until it ran out of memory. Is there some way to leave them on the SD card but still read them on the unit to free up the memory?

Divide them up by lake or region into individual USR files. Then load only that area for that trip.

That is a really good idea - but it's like 7000 waypoints... That'd be a PITA

Dang man 7k wypts! You are a fishing fool and for what it's worth even the top of the line Lowrance graph only holds 5k wypts (might be more now with the new gen3's)

Actually it is easy with a HDS Touch using Export Region function. Just need to borrow one.
