Keep seeing that on articles about the Skeeter Tournament. What is the deal on this?

Quoted from the brochure...

"50 Rubber Ducks distributed around the lake prior to the tournament start. Each will be assigned a number located on the bottom of the duck. These numbers represent a prize to be awarded on Sunday following the weigh-in. You must be present to win and only one (1) duck per angler"

I found a duck this weekend. We added up the retail prices and it was worth $540 worth of stuff. It was a small K2 cooler, case of yahalube, $100 to tacklewharhouse, lake master chip, 4 30oz tumblers from Engel, and a life jacket.

I saw yeti coolers being handed out, trolling motors and all kinds of nice prizes.

I was fishin a main lake point Saterday morning about 8:30 and noticed a light colored dot out past some other boats closer to the boat lane. I thought it was someones bouy at first but fifteen minutes later I could tell it was drifting closer so my nephew and I cranked up, circled around the other boats to see and sure nough was a duck. That was the most exciting thing to happen for us during the whole tourney ment. The fish eluded us big time and it was the toughest I've ever seen Fork fish, besides the first time I ever went there in the early 90's and there was ice along the shoreline and the backs of coves where frozen over.
We got a Endura troll motor, Shimano reel and a certificate for a Trophy prop up to $550 bucks. I need a prop too so I was very happy with that. The total package was worth about $900.

Now we got a troll motor for sale real cheap if anyone's interested.
