When looking for bass during the hotter months are they typically grouped up like in the winter or will you simply just see about 4-5fish here and there in the 15-20ft range or whatever range you are looking at? What do you typically see when searching new waters in the hotter months trying to locate fish to catch?

I always find them shallow first then try to follow them to the second level then to deeper water. I work a lake until I have the best 3 spots at each level for a total of 9 spots to fish each day. They will always be on one of the 9 spots. This is the first post on shallow water spots: http://texasfishingforum.com/forums/ubbthreads.php/topics/11250497/#11250497
