My wife and I are going to be fishing Texoma for the first time this weekend. I'm looking for advice on lure and colors to use. Not looking for fishing spots, just advice around lures and colors. We will mainly be fishing in the big mineral arm.

Went Saturday. Wouldn't go to big mineral. Never got bit. Did good once you get passed the red water

I would just take the basics and go fishing. You should catch some, it's late spring.
Remember water is probably stained.

Just saw a statement about Red River reaching flood stage in Montague County today. I would think this will bring a lot of stained water to Texoma and continue to keep it stained. I would either take Doug's advice above or consider another lake this weekend.
