Was wondering about any reports of bass since the lake has come back up? Planning on going there in a couple of weeks.

Dale it is still tough. But dang it looks good.
I do know there was a pretty good shad spawn going off in the rocks by my dock yesterday morning but didn't get to throw a bait into it.
I'm going Sunday if the wind doesn't blow too hard. I'll post if anything is happening.

They had a tournament out there last weekend and only one fish was caught! Bass club of the West fished it.

Going to be tough the rest of the year with all the new water and cover. The lake went from 13% full to 63% full in one years time.

If Abilene doesn't pump her dry, it will be make for a heck of a lake here in a year or two.

They're out there. I found some good fish on beds a few days ago. You just have to look, and they were pretty far away from where everyone tends to fish, if that helps any.

They usually stay in the same area they were in before the lake came up........

I would tend to agree, but the area of water that I found the row of beds on is located in a spot that was dry a month ago. I've been to HC 5 times total and have never seen anyone on that spot, or anywhere near it.

If they did they would be in about 30 foot of water.
