I'm heading to Amistad right now and was wondering if anyone could help me out with a curent fishing report.
Thanks!

Fished it the last (2) weekends, probably not going to get alot of info considering the $ on the line in the up-coming tournaments.

However I am not fishing it or them. I have been catching my fish on 3/4 (Santone) Pumpkin jig anywhere from 20 to 56 ft of water. I couldn't tell you the area because I really don't pay alot of attention to my GPS and the names of them. I am South of the Hwy 90 Bridge fishing just off the Rio Grande River channel. I am looking for open water coming off the river channel with the depths I described above. I have also been doing decent with a 10 inch Zoom Mag Worm (pumpkin) rigged Tx style and a 1 oz (tandem willow blade) white spinnerbait fished on the bottom. I am not catching any size, lots of Smallmouth the last few weekends. I will be there the next two weekends as well.

......and then on to the holly meka of bass fishing, SUGAR LAKE!

Was there Thursday-Sunday. Caught fish on T-rig anything, Senkos and Top Water. Not much size but decent numbers. Caught fish about everywhere we went.

It's fishing tough. Plenty of small fish. We only had three today go over 3 lbs. It's the toughest day I've ever had on Amistad.
