I love 10min from the lake....all I can say is fish hard till you get bit then slow down. They are everywhere. Deep, suspended, and shallow....had over 25lbs Sunday. You can catch them any way you choose, meaning your favorite method.

Ramps will be open, but water might be more stained than normal due to last Friday's rain. Gilmer Walmart is holding their annual Children's Miracle Network tournament there this coming Saturday. Good tournament to fish with food, drinks and lots of door prizes.

How many boats did they get at last year's tournament. I saw this tournament was posted on the "Tournament Dates and Information" page.

Trigg said 35-40 last year in his message to me. $100 entry fee. I was wanting to check it out but don't want to mess with that much stuff going on.
