Is it over? Just started? Curious as on another board a guy said it's been over for a couple weeks. I was there the 2nd week in March and found no bedding bass. The temps are showing to be 60-63 according to TPWD.

I'm sure there are some stoll spawning but all my fish are postspawn. At least that's the way they have been looking.
I can backlash toilet paper.

I caught mostly pre-spawn fish last week deep 10-25 ft. I would say the water being up will delay it a while.

Fish still up on beds yesterday. Stained water, coupled with limited areas you can access through the trees, have made sight fishing a hit or miss proposition.

Fish have been on the beds in some places on the lake since December. Not all Bass spawn at the same time. You will be able to catch fish off the beds probably up until May.

It's about 60% done if I was to guess but with water up, getting to them or even seeing them is tough. Definitely not over even with them starting early. Most years there's a bunch even during the McDonalds tournament.

We caught a lot of post spawn fish the weekend of the 5th-6th, water temp was 70 degrees in the afternoon where we were.
We had around 75 fish on that Saturday, I'd say it was about 70/30 spawn/post spawn. A lot of 4s and 5s that were spawned out, and an 11 lber that was full of eggs.

My guess is 50% over. But its super difficult to get to them the water up. Definitely not going to see many...
