I'm trying to plan a trip with my wife for our anniversary. Last year we got a cabin at Broken Bow and had a good time catching numbers. Lake Murray is much closer but I've never fished it. So if you had a choice where would you rather be? We are looking at 2nd week of April. I'm also open to any other suggestions on lakes and cabins.

They have floating cabins on Murray that r nice but a little pricey! The fishing has been good at both this year but the smallmouth have been really good at Murray. Better chance to catch a big one at Broken Bow and numbers will be good at both. To me Broken Bow is the prettiest lake in the state and the cabins r very reasonable.

I personally wouldn't stay in the floating cabins at Murray. The guy that runs them is a D*** and hates bass fisherman. He likes to harass fisherman that fish around the floating docks of the cabins.

It's like $450 a night for floating cabins at Murray. Looked at them couple years ago. You could go on a really nice vacation for what they charge
