Considered getting a pair of Rx green mirror today. That is until they told me the price. $600.00 for Costa 580P lenses. That includes a 20% discount. Shocking. I was ready to hear 300 to 350. Guy tells me the price will be the same everywhere. Lenses were 500 frame 100. Rx is nothing special +1.75 and hardly any distance correction. Any other options?

Do you need a true prescription? They make a reader with +1.75

Thought about the readers but distance will be a little blurry. Have to look over the top of the readers when I use them.

just suck it up and pay for it!! There is nothing else that can compare... it'll be the best tool you ever bought for an outdoor activity.

My dad just got Maui Jims, I think they were closer to $300.
Personally I'd pony up for the Costas

I have a pair of RX Oakleys. About the same price, but my vision insurance covered them so I only ended up spending around $250. Worth every penny.

Probably true...but over the long haul, LASIK would be a better return

I was looking not long ago and came up with the same type of pricing. Wasnt worth it to me. There are some other brands a little more reasonable with good ratings. I am probably going with one of the floating pairs.

Thanks for the feedback. I sent Sport Rx a request for a price. looks like I have to call them Monday. This is all new to me, first full year with glasses and getting that line into some of those weights can be a challenge. I have restocked on lead bullet weights as they are somewhat larger diameter hole than the tungsten weights I have. That may take care of my issues right now.
