It blows my mind how high the water is on the lake. Is anybody doing any good?

Fished it last weekend and we got third with 17.5 lbs, just over 20 won it. we caught fish flipping flooded trees and bushes in backs of pockets, others caught fish on flooded roadbeds. I know some fish were caught on the flooded park road in Brushy creek. I talked to another guy that caught fish up around camp joy, I think he said he had twenty-ish lbs. Another team I talked to went all the way to Hwy. 259 and caught 20 lbs too. All that to say... Yes, there are still fish being caught. Squarebills, chatterbaits, and flipping seem to be the main techniques.

Thanks for that information Scuppernong!! I just looked and the lake is up 13 feet and actually rose .02 from yesterday. I have a camping trip planned from Saturday - Tuesday. With the cold front coming in, barometric pressure rising, and super high water, I'm not too optimistic. Hopefully I can find something that will work.
