 anyone ever fish this oklahoma lake

On the way to Oklahoma, just north of Ardmore there is lake called Jean Neustadt, it's located visible on the west side
of I-35. Has anyone ever fished that lake? I never see any boats on it.

No, but I've also been wanting to try it for decades, just haven't been able to make time to do it. Saw a boat pulling out back in Aug/Sept, took little detour to ask them about the fishing. Told me it was okay bass, crappie & catfish. They didn't fish it much, fishing much better at Murray & Arbuckle. They were short on time that day stayed closeer to home. Ardmore city permit required to launch or fish from shore. Was told permits for sale at the Ardmore Walmart but I can't verify that. Fishing, a man knows a serenity of soul and peace of mind that he finds in doing nothing else, and it makes no difference whether or not he catches anything. The mind of a true fisherman is not on petty subjects.

Always heard it was good for Crappie. It looks Bassy. Always went to Murray.

It is stocked with saugeye. Murray or Arbuckle is your best bet.

No worries, I was just curious. I've always wondered about that lake every time I come back home from fishing Murray or Arbuckle.

Not that good of a bass lake. If you're going up drive to Ardmore to fish, would be better to hit Murray. If you do decide to fish.
