Got an email from Jeff Rietz, and he talked to the TP&W at the ramp in Secret Haven and they sprayed the Giant Salvania again using an airboat and the ramps and Chaney Branch past the Water Boom that they have layed accross the lake will remained close for next 3 weeks, after that TP&W will re-access the situation and make a decision on whether to open or leave closed until further notice.

Also, there were 3 boats inside the water boom and TP&W escorted all 3 boats out of chaney branch and said the Game wardens will be issuing citations on anyone caught inside the Water booms.

I have a camp at secret haven and will update when i hear more or anyone wanting to contact TP&W may do so.

Just giving everyone an update since someone in another post had mentioned some were going over the water boom and back in Novemeber i did see someone past it..

I've seen this stuff at lake Caddo and there aren't words to describe it until you see it with your own eyes.

Chaney branch is still closed, TP&W will access the situation in a few more weeks.

Isn't this the plant where they brought in some beetle from where it is native and it got rid of the problem?
