Well, I fished Saturday up north and only caught three 2 pounders and a couple of dinks on weightless baits. I am fishing Palestine again Saturday to try my luck south in a club tournament. Could I get some advice on a good ramp to trailer to? I would prefer the ramp to be on the south east side of the lake (somewhere around Saline).
Also, I know the south end of Palestine is supposed to be acceptable to run on pad. But, I do see stump field areas on navionics quite often on the south end. If I avoid those areas, can I run safely most places?
Thank you so much!

There's a couple in saline bay. Do a aerial photo look on bing maps. One place even has a hotel on the water with ramp

Lake Palestine Resort has two good ramps in Highsaw and Ledbetter creeks. Not only a great area to fish but easy access to the south end of lake. Saline is almost straight across the lake. Pretty much clear running all the way down the east side of the lake.
FISHING NOW NOT WORKING ANYMORE

Once you are in Highsaw and Ledbetter creek areas it is full of stumps - once outside the bridge area the running options are better. Great place to launch. Good people at Palestine Resort.

Palestine Resort is awesome! Great rooms, cafe, and ramp!! My first choice if I'm spending the night!
