Summer craw medium diving cranks on the numerous boat houses will catch you a limit of smallies pretty fast. I was catching them two at a time on a crank. One on each book. Also, just north of the bridge going away from Indian point, you can drop shot in 40 FOW on the huge flat next to 150 FOW and catch fish all day.
Also, Indian point has many little feeder creek coves that shallow cranks and top water work well all day.
My favorite spot is a little tiny island on the north west side of the main lake. It is cool. Boat floating in 180ft of water casting to the island in 5 feet. That's called a "drop off". Lol. Throw a green pumpkin anything up on the ledge and slowly pull it off. And hold on.
I caught a major league sack everyday I was at that lake for Bassmaster. I averaged around 100-150lbs a day...plenty to cull. Should have won that lake, but dropped a 4+ out of the back of the boat at weigh in on day one. Duh. I lost by 3lbs by the weigh in on day three.
My results were fishing during a 200-300 boat tourney and practice. With very good anglers applying pressure to the water. Your results should be better, depending on number of boats at the lake.
Oh.....I'm talking Table Rock. You can try looking up James Watson in the MO fishing forums. He lives close and will help you find fish.
If you drain that lake, it would be the Grand Canyon all over again. Lol
