Finally think I'm on the mend from whatever it was kicking my butt for over a month, cabin fever and now SUNSHINE ~~
roflmao With warmer weather, rising air temps, water should be warming as well
Anyone have opinions on if we are or are not about to start "THE" spawn and/or better fishing now?

Thanks
God Bless
Lee

I don't know about spawning but I bet they will be active over the next few days in this warm weather. Headed to Fork later today and will be fishing tomorrow with Justin Margraves, then will fish the rest of the week myself. Excited and looking forward to it as I haven't been on the water enough over the last few months.

They are on beds down here in south east texas. Saw numerous beds yesterday but no big females. This week should change that. TTT at Toledo Saturday is going to have some giant bags I think.

We caught some good fish at Palestine last Saturday and the girls had bellies. No sign that they were spawning yet, but they were active and shallow. The bite got a lot better as the day went on.

We caught some good fish at Toledo Bend this past week. As the water warmed up throughout the day the fish were moving shallower. The spawn is right around the corner. Can't wait to go back.
