Sad to say it, but I have not had the pleasure of fishing in a long while. I am headed to Fork this weekend to make sure my boat is not rotting and to fish (if all is good). Anyone have any updates (water temps, patterns, anything really). Just looking for some advice where to start so that I am not driving around like a mad man! Don't need honey holes, just want to make the trip as productive as possible. It's shameful how long it has been since I have fished!!! Thanks for the help!

I'm not sure there has been much bass fishing out there in the last few weeks. Now that the gates are shut and the water is clearing they might start biting again. I'm sure there are a few guys picking up some here and there but its been a slow winter with all the rain and flooding. This big warm up in the next few days should get fish thinking about moving in shallower following the creeks in...

I'll be out there, Fri-Sun, I'm going to start shallow, and move out.
So if you do exactly the opposite you'll do fine... fish

Wouldn't mind being there Monday, right after 4 unseasonably warms days and just before another cool front coming Tuesday.

I'd like to be there Monday too, the anniversary of PB 12.97. I might go out Saturday even though I have heard it has been tough and the water is still dirty.

Good luck let us know how it goes.

The driving force and secret desire of every bass fisherman, is to one day be a crappie fisherman............Could it be that the good Lord just smilies and looks the other way when a fisherman tells a lie?
