 Anyone catching fish on Athens?

I've had 3 short mid day trips out there this month and haven't caught a fish. Anyone having any luck? If so, care to share tips?

I got skunked for my first time ever on Athens two Saturday's ago. It was a half day in the afternoon as well.

Just fished a tournament there this weekend. I tried deep almost all day. On caught 4 slot fish and a crappie. Then we went shallow and could not get bit. The best pattern we found late was to throw cranks at the deeper piers.

don't say u r catching fish on Athens. People get mad at u. So I am saying that the fish aren't biting OR I just aint no good.

I haven't caught any fish on Athens in 6 weeks. Something has them messed up.

Poor guy couldnt buy a bite. Dont let him fool you though, the other two of us caught some  We didnt catch any size. Caught them all on red rattle traps and worms.

Poor guy couldnt buy a bite. Dont let him fool you though, the other two of us caught some We didnt catch any size. Caught them all on red rattle traps and worms. I wouldn't even consider the one you caught worthy of being called a fish. It was smaller than the lure you were throwing lol.

don't sell the boat,,,,,just head to Falcon.
That's what I do every year at this time.
