It seems that BPS and the Lew's Corporation has kissed and made up. Just noticed they have them Iisted in the newest catalog. It's possible they are in stores now. I don't know, because I won't shop there, however their catalog makes good bathroom reading material. Very interesting though!

Well Lews got stricter on the high school programs. Lews lost several small dealers along with Academy debating dropping them.

That's where you circle and fold the page for stuff you want and leave it for the wife to find. Hasn't worked yet though....

BPS and Cabelas catalog are wisH book's. Find new items, then go local or online and buy cheaper. Powderly TX has a tackle store that competes with them on price and selection.

Probably do away with the catalog in a few years. I've never understood how they dont lose money doing this. They send me countless catalogs in a year and I hardly buy anything. I get a HUGE cabelas annual catalog every year which is about a 5 pound hardcover book and I buy very little from them either. Just a few little oddball things I cant find anywhere else

It's been several years since I bought from BPS, but both times my credit card was breached and new debit cards had to be issued. Never had any issues ordering from other retailers online.

But it drives traffic to the store for that 'one item', resulting in many people impulse buying others!

#1 reason I don't buy from Bass Pro is shipping cost. I will buy from their retail stores occasionally if I am in the area.

They are carrying the Lew's reels in store now. Man behind the reel counter made it a point to point out that they have a new selection of them.

Must have just got the Lews in. I was in the Grapevine store Tuesday before Christmas and was looking for a few Lews to hold. I haven't been in BPS in so long I didn't know they weren't carrying Lews reels. The salesman told me they would start again aroubd first of the year and to come back. Guess he was right on time.
