Was thinking about heading over to LOP tomorrow, but I've heard the water is still really high. Just wondering if anybody has any current info on it.
Are the ramps open? Is it fishable? Which end would you fish? Where would you put in?
Any info would be much appreciated!

We went crappie fishing Friday and put in at sandy beach. All the courtesy docks are under water so loading and unloading if your by yourself is a pain. I was told that under the 155 bridge is completely covered with water hyacinth and can't get through. We were not having much luck with crappie fishing but we did catch a couple of bass around the flooded brushy day use area.

Ok so nothing below 155 still. That's good to know. I was planning to mostly flip flooded brush, but not sure if you can even get to the spots. I've been out there before when you couldn't.

I stopped by the 155 ramp on Sunday just to see what it looked like and caught 5 off the ramp. Water is real high and the salvina is EVERYWHERE. Saturday it had the bridge completely shut off. Fishing seemed good if you could get your boat in.

You never want a drink of water till the well runs dry
