Took a flight out Friday and met him this past Saturday. Was a great trip and got to learn some good tips when it comes to bedding fish in Florida. He really is a good guy and glad he called us and let us know he was free this past Saturday. Hope you enjoy

Your video awakens a huge bank of fond memories. Okeechobee was my home water for 19+ years; I'm looking forward to a scheduled week+ stay at Roland's Marina this spring.

WOW. I am envious. I have always wanted to fish with Scott Martin (even though I'm not much of a fisherman) I would pay a small fortune to fish with that guy, except one thing.... I don't have a small fortune.

Looks like you are fishing with live shiner. I used to live in Florida. There is nothing as fun as fishing with wild shiner. The biggest I have ever caught was 7 pounds, never been to Okeechobee.

I can't believe he doesn't have PP's?? I figured those would be a must have on that lake. Great video and that would be cool to fish with him. He seems like a nice guy.

He is a friend of mine I met this past January. We only used shiners on two spots on that lake and he was explaining it to me that there are spots where shiners will only work. He called them the highway type spots where they were roaming. We were flipping mats for most of the day trying to find beds and spawning fish. How did you get to fish with him? And why live bait?

I can't believe he doesn't have PP's?? I figured those would be a must have on that lake. Great video and that would be cool to fish with him. He seems like a nice guy. He had them on last season's tournament boat. Maybe that's his new one for next season or maybe it's one of his guide boats.

Lucky enough to go out with him and James Biggs same day on Red River while showing him around for last Cup we had. Talked to him several more times since, Even putting him on fish for his Caddo and Hosston fishing shows he filmed
