I have a buddy coming who has never caught a smallie. How is the smallie fishing in early December on Texoma? I'd love to be the one who puts him on his first smallie. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Not sure about December, I cant remember going out much last year around that time, cant stand the cold much anymore. I think Texoma is fishing very decent for smallmouth right now, some on here are doing really well. Im interested to hear others responses also..

There is a tournament out there this weekend, maybe some of those guys would give out information next week that could help you

If the weather gets cold and nasty, the smallmouth will celebrate. Get out on the rocky main lake points with a jerkbait or A-Rig and cast until something yanks your arm off!

What tournament is on Texoma this weekend? I believe the RHBC Classic/championship is out there

Start on the rocky points from Little Mineral to Eisenhower. I throw jerkbaits and cranks on those points, the reports have been good recently for smallies.
