Tackle Warehouse is legit. Now it's up to you to know the value of what you are purchasing to know if its a "good deal". Except during sales most things are MSRP but their selection, speed of shipping and customer service are great. Watch out for the tackle monkey though!

Depending on where you live in Ft. Worth it may be to your advantage to check out Angler's Pro Tackle. Their prices are as good or better than Tackle Warehouse except for sales, but they have frequent sales also. And I like that I can look at the product before buying. But some things they don't carry so I buy from TW. It's 40 miles to APT for me so I don't get there as much as I would like but you can't beat the people or the service. But to your original question, yes Tackle Warehouse is legit, and not a scam.

There are several factors that make Tackle Warehouse wonderful.
1. their prices are fair, no price gouging on hole lake favorites.
2. Shipping is free over 50$. Or you can 2 day it before a tournamnet for 5$
3. You do not have to pay sales taxes!! This saves a lot
4. You do not have to let people see what you are buying.
5. No running around searching for a bait.

Tackle Warehouse is the greatest! Other than the instant gratification you receive when purchasing in person, you really can't beat no sales tax and 2 day $5 shipping. Plus you also can find exactly what is you're looking for.

TW is a huge scam. Let me explain. Load your shopping cart with a few items you need, You go to check out and your total comes to $48.00 dollars. You delay your checkout and go do some more shopping to meet the $50 minimum for free shipping and BAM $600 later you got your free shipping.  TW is great place to buy from, especially when they run their sales.

Along with APT, the Fun N Sun in Hurst also has a really nice tackle store to visit. But as others have said, Tackle Warehouse is an awesome online store.
