What are some techniques y'all use to catch the bigger fish? Me and my buddy from college fished it for the first time on Saturday and we caught around 50 between the 2 of us. They were all dinks. I think we had 3 keepers all day. We started with frogs and chatterbait but nothing. Made an adjustment to weightless fluke and wacky senko and started catching them, but again, all small. I guess we should have made another adjustment but its hard when you are getting bit. We had fun none the less and for my first time it was a successful trip as far as catching goes.

I'll add this, I don't think I have ever been on such a subtle bite yet caught that many.

Get out on the River in the Mid Lake area and drag a jig or Rig.
Bends and hard bottom areas.
