Anyone made the run from Hunter Park up to TinTop? How bad did the brush grow up at the old pillars

Ran from Rough Creek ramp to way above Tin Top the other day. Wide open the whole way. The area that is silted in midway between Hunter Park and the old bridge pillars is about 8' deep in the channel at its shallowest and clearly and accurately marked by the BRA buoys. As you are heading upstream towards what i think of as the river entrance the buoys stop but you can clearly see the river entrance. Just stay to the right and head up the channel towards those old rock bridge pillars. Really, it's easy and makes sense when you run up. Hug the buoys and go. No brush in river channel. All the ski boats found it too :-) :-( Nice to see the entrance to the river open again.

Does anyone know if you can load a 17 ft aluminum boat in at tin top? I've never used the ramp and I am curious about loading there. Thanks.
