Sunday we lost one of the good ones at Lake Fork. Bren Brandt lost his battle with cancer Sunday at his home in Popes Landing with a bunch of family and several of the guides by his side. Bren was a stick on all the lakes In East Texas and all the way until Sunday he made sure to tell me where I needed to fish and what to throw to catch em. It was not uncommon for there to be 5-10 guides on Brens porch most nights of the week talking about how their day went and how if Bren was able he would have smoked all of us on the water. Bren loved to fish twok, Palestine, cedar creek, and made his home on Fork several years back. Many of you may know his wife Robin who works at the Minnow Bucket. If you guys are over there stop by and tell her you are thinking of her. I just wanted to come on here and let the TFF family know because Bren touched a lot of people lives! Here's a pic of his last Largemouth he caught with me! Love ya buddy Keep ripping Bren!

He was a super nice guy and full of knowledge. Only got to know him the last couple of years, but was always as nice as he could be to me and always made me laugh. World is a little smaller without him. Condolences to Robin and Pete. Thanks Zach.

I had the privilege to meet him last year at the bass cat tournament. He invited me into his home for dinner. He was the nicest guy. Talked to me like he had known me for years. R.I.P. Bren.
