I was wondering if anybody had any places to go catch some bass near tyler. I live in tyler and want to try some where new other than lake tyler that is close. I was wondering if anybody ever fishes Lake Bellwood tyler tx. Thanks for the help in advance.

I would suggest either Lake Hawkins or Lake Holbrook. Two different lakes (Hawkins has lots of grass, Holbrook has bank structure and large brush piles), but both can provide numbers.....
Lake Hawkins would be a short shot up Hwy 14 and Lake Holbrook up Hwy 69 to Mineola.....

I fished lake Bellwood back in the early 90's when I lived in Tyler. It used to be a fun little lake to fish. Lake Tyler has some good fishing as does Lake Palestine. Get out and wet a hook!
