What lure comes to mind when you think back at your first experience fishing? Mine would have to be a Chartreuse Mister Twister spinner bait. BTW, this was back in the early 80's.

When I was a kid I used to throw
this big black popper style top
water. I have no idea what it was called
but it was black with a little orange
underneath and was pretty bulky. It had a whole on top
for the water to Splash thru. My dad
always got a kick out of it cause I
never put it down and caught fish with it. Of course
this was before I read all the magazines
that say only top water works under low-light
conditions so I was tossing it all day.

chartreuse or white spinnerbait, single Colorado blade 1/4 ounce...... absolutely would kill them in the ponds growing up. Awesome
