I have a Lowrance Hds8 with platinum chip, will the boat land chip be a big improvement?

Yes it will be, your chip shows contours and overlay of the lake, the lanes chip will put trails on your map to show you were its safe to run.The trails are very accurate.

Just make sure you order the right one, their customer service absolutely sucks.
I messed up my order and emailed and called them numerous times with no reply, had to open a paypal dispute to get a refund.

Finally down loaded the right lanes and they are fantastic.

I have Navionics and their lanes a decently accurate for the texas side below the bridge. It gives me an idea where to look for the bouy.

What is this $30.00 chip you are talking about ??

Anyone have experience with the Lake master chips on T-Bend.
It shows the boat lanes. But I have never been on the lake.

Assume this is what the OP was asking about.

The lanes are marked very well right now. Just keep an eye out for floaters. I have only seen a few this summer, but they were the kind that would hurt your feelings.

Toledo tackle sell a chip that has gps lake maps of Toledo and San Rayburn. Has lanes as well as roadbeds, bridges, etc all marked on the lake.

Darold do you know anything about the Tommy Martin Chips for Toledo Bend? My parents live in Six Mile so I grew up fishing TB most of my life(mainly around Six Mile, Housen, and a couple other near by spots) but recently figured I would order the chip to overlay my Navionics chip. After all it was only $44
