So I'm beginning to get more into bass fishing, and I'm curious if there are any certain types of baits/lures to have on at all times. I currently am T-Rigging Plastics (Craws/Lizards/etc.), but I haven't really gotten into other baits. Are there any recommended baits/lures that anyone could recommend to me? -Thanks

keep it real simple. shaky head would be the next. you have the plastics. just need some shaky hooks. owners are nice

Stick to more natural colors with all your lures until you get a good amount of lures stockpiled. Im all about Zoom 8" trick worms

If you're fishing from the bank (like many beginning bass fisherman) you can't beat a squarebill in my opinion...I almost always have one tied on and ready to go. If you are on the bank though make sure to slow it way down as it gets close to the shore or even stop reeling to let it float up...otherwise it'll keep diving and get hung up on [censored] on the bottom. Learned that the hard way.

A square bill in a "sexy shad" color and a shaky head. I just about always have those tied on, the plastic on the shaky head I will trade out depending on if I am getting bit.
Hey--we finally caught one! dwjimages.smugmug.com
