I would it will fix all your problems, your boat wash is due to your transducer being further away from motor which in turns gives you a wider cone to pick up the boat wash, closer to the motor the smaller the cone and won't pick up boat wash.

You could run your cable through the white through hole too just silicon the hose back up.

That is the livewell pickup

Oh might not be a big enough hose then
