Me and my buddy caught a few fish, nothing big i think the biggest was 3.5 to 4 lbs with mostly 2lbers but had a blast. water is very clear for pines. no mudd in the water at all just that stain that pines is known for. shad were EVERY where by the thousands! in one spot we saw a dozen schools of shad just under the water! frogs and flukes were best and worked in any color as long as you didn't throw it up on dry land. we fished 155 all the way as far as you can get the boat up the creek past 259 fish
