I run a 998 and an 859, I do not see creeks on these units like a buddy of mine that runs lowrance. Lowrance units show creeks as a dark blue line, is there a setting I can adjust? I use a navionics premium chip.

Also, is there a way to adjust the casting rings setting to darken them up, they currently show up as a lighter green color?

Are you asking about seeing the creek on the side imaging or GPS map?
I don't think the casting ring color can't be changed

I may be wrong but I don't think Navionics shows the creeks
Lakemaster does and you can change the colors on this one

I also use lake master and you can edit colors of all markings pretty much. I put an older navionics one in the unit and it did not show creek channels or show up in the menu options where you edit them. Hit menu button then select navigation category, scroll down to waypoints and trails and open it. If you have an option to edit a channel marking this is where it would be

My question was about seeing them on GPS

Thanks Billy, I'll check this out.

Depends on which map cards and how recent the updates are on em. I have both navionics and lakemaster. My new navionics card shows me more detail than my older ones. It shows a lot more road beds and creek beds in blue. The lakes I fish seem to be better with navionics.
