Against my better judgement I made a reservation at SC for Friday. Haven't been in months. Anyone fished it lately? The water is bound to be upper 90s. At least the water will be clean lol

Find the coolest water. AKA go up the river.

Water was 95* at the launch, 97* at the south end near the dam, and about 87* half way up the northern-most creek last Friday. Up in the creek the water was so full of tilapia you could just about get out and walk across their backs. If you cast just about anywhere you'll startle the fish where it hits and about 30 square foot of water erupts as the fish jostle each other and explode. We saw a few bass caught outside of the creek and caught a couple to about 6#, but not too many. What we didn't try was fishing deep water, which might be the ticket this time of the year if you can find the structure they're holding to. Good luck!
