I've got a couple of Quantum IM7 rods and they are good rods. I like them just fine. I'm not a big spender on rods and reels. I have a couple of curado's, a Caenan, and some Quantum ACS reels. My rods are lightning rods, quantum rods, and a couple of ugly sticks for my heavier jobs.

There are a lot of Quantum rods out there bud. I've used one of the cheaper KVD crankin rods and it was good for throwing a crank. I've also used a smoke rod and liked it, it was light and sensitive, good rod for the price.

I have a Quantum IM7 as well, good rod without breaking the bank.
