Is kurth open back up, had a death in family and haven't been out there in last month. Just wondering if it was open, also was wanting to know if fish have started schooling on nac?

Kurth is open, however you must now purchase a pass at the city engineering office (3 day-$15 or yearly-$120). Per conversation with the city's engineering office you can no longer purchase a pass at the gate due to medical conditions with the caretaker's family.
I have not seen any big schools of bass on Nac yet. There are some small schools chasing bait here and there, but nothing impressive yet. Water color is still really stained and somewhat muddy from all of the incoming water however water level is staying pretty constant. Was out there yesterday and it has come down back closer to normal after being a couple of feet high.

Went out to kurth the other day, didn't do great. Any recent news on Nacogdoches?

Fished Nac today. It was much more tough today than it was earlier in the week. Didn't catch near the numbers today. Mostly stayed north of the power lines because of all the pleasure boaters. Fished some deep, but my best bite today was a flipping bite. Thermocline seems to be around 12-15 feet north of the bridge. Find the bait fish and you will find the bass. They are feeding pretty heavy right now.
