 Garmin 73SV on a trolling motor.

I am having trouble finding a way to mount a Garmin GT40-TM transducer on my trolling motor. Transducer Shield shows a mount for the GT30-TM that looks like it will mount on a trolling motor, but i don't know if it will fit the GT40-TM transducer. My question is have any of y'all put these units on the front of your boats yet. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
