Two weeks ago I was having good success with a weightless fluke around islands and on points. Last two trips out, I have had zero fluke bites. Besides the random senko bite(I'm convinced they will catch fish anywhere/anytime) and trying to catch feeding bass around the dam.... I can't figure them out again. Any guesses?

The fish have moved deeper.

They are just not biting on flukes Try a football head jig in the same areas Also go to a smaller swim bait. They have been attacking big pods of ghost minnows, not shad I have been throwing a 1/4oz RR with a black n silver Minniw body and doing real well off the shallow weed beds. The jigs I have been throwing in deeper brush piles and off points The fish are still there and biting. I caught 20 Monday evening in just 2.5 hrs

Throw it on a Carolina Rig. I do well with a fluke on that rig.

Have they started schooling out deep yet? They hadn't really gotten going when I was there a couple weeks ago. I use a fluke or double fluke rig for that alot.

It's starting a little. Saw bass hitting around the dam and threw a trap out in em. Caught 3 real quick yesterday. All small slots.
