Need some feedback on some of these rods. I'm leaning towards buying dobyns as I used it this past weekend and it was awesome. Thanks.

TFO - A Texas Company. Lot of well known anglers put their name on their rods.

Lefty Krehl is one of them....fly fishing legend.

which dobyns are you looking at?

For the money I think TFO is the answer but if you can afford TOP END, dobyns.

Iv fished them all the dobyns rods from the savvy to the champ extreme are good rods. The champ line is the rod most can relate with. But used and save tons of cash, and the new rod at the 100$ price point came out called fury.

I love the champion series Dobyns. I used to own Denali's but switched those to Dobyns. They're a great rod and the warranty is the best part to me! thumb

I like the dobyns myself. I have both savvy's and champion's, haven't been let down by them yet... plus they're warranty gives me peace of mind.

TFO is a great rod at $99 or $150 (Tactical). I own 3, and they would be my choice at that price. That being said, the Dobyns Champion is a step up both in quality and price. In my opinion, they are lighter, more balanced, and more sensitive. Just about my favorite rod however, is the Dobyns Extreme. It's another big step up in price, but man it's a sweet rod.

Have never owned a Denali, so I have no input there.
