We all know that every major sports wants their athletes to be role models for the youth coming up. If the way you hold big fish is so important then why aren't the Elite guys held to the same standards as a role model as other pro sports? These guys hold big fish by the jaw and shake them for the crowd doesn't seem like a good way to promote fish care. Just sayin

That's a point that has been made in this discussion numerous times.

I personally think it's a good one, but I also think the MLF real-time weigh in should be the future, and many people disagree with that position, or at least that the pros will never do away with the weigh in format because that's where all of the fans are.
