I went and checked it out this morning, not an easy trek past the gates without a truck. Anyways, I went near point A and was close to directly into the wind..not great for casting. I haven't checked out the other spots. Anyone have any opinions on the best spots for bass from shore? Much appreciated. I'll be trying lipless cranks and spinnerbaits PS- I heard the gates are closed on weekends, anyone know if that is true?

Gates are not closed on the weekends. I am a weekend warrior out there but there are not many spots for fishing off the bank that I know of. There's not much left out there. It's been tuff to find the fish lately for me or I would point you in the right direction. Good luck out there!!

With the water so low, there aren't many places that aren't reachable with a long cast. Where are the spots for boaters to usually try?

There are a few ledges out there that usually hold a few fish. I have been fishing up the river mainly lately to see what is up with the fish. Just trying to look for any signs of what is going on out there. Like I said it has been tough out there for me the past month and I usually do awesome out there do I can't be much help right now. I'll let y'all know if I find where they are at.
